LOGLINE:

When 43 year-old bachelor Donny Moretti finds himself unexpectedly sharing an Uber with his high-school ex, Chelle Bergmann, he’s forced to face his lifelong shortcomings or lose his second chance at first love. Told in flashbacks, SPIN follows the same lovers 25 years apart as they discover the only way to make their bright future together is to examine their faded past.

SYNOPSIS:

SPIN is the story of studious and uptight Chelle Bergman and her whirlwind teenage romance with rabble-rouser Donny Moretti in the year 2019. But Donny’s lack of ambition, and Chelle’s commitment to bigger-and-better things comes between them just before Graduation. In 2043, Chelle and Donny happen to take the same rideshare to the airport. As they catch up with one another and reminisce about their youth, we learn why they were perfect for each other… and why it didn’t work out. But the love still remains. Can they pick up where they left off 25 years earlier… or will it end the same way? SPIN is a charming tale of young love, fear of the future, and the inevitability of looking back and asking “what could have been?”
